G&L neck question

Does anyone know if G&L makes a jazz style neck to fit the L-2000 Tribute? The L-2000 neck width at the nut is 1.5/8th's which is a little uncomfortable for me. I prefer the jazz width, which is 1.1/2 at the nut. Thanks for any help. :help:

Only the US versions have neck options as far as I know. The JB2 and the SB2 tributes both have 1 1/2" necks at the nut.

All Tribute L2000's have a 1 3/4 inch nut. I loved the bass, but like you, the neck was too big to play comfortably. G&L hasn't offered a 1 5/8 nut in some years. Several of the local Bass players have had meetings with the VP at G&L, and one of the things they discussed, was bringing back the 1 5/8 nut.

I bought an 82 L1000 that has the 1 5/8 nut on it, and I like it. I also like the 1 1/2 nut. I'm looking seriously at the Tribby SB-2 as a backup, and the 1 1/2 nut.
