G&L Tribute JB-2 vs Sire V5

Hi, I'm looking for a mid-priced workhorse passive jazz bass.
These are my main options.
Which one would you preffer?
What I'm looking for: the most playable or comfortable, something that cuts nice in the mix (rock 60's to 80's style), clarity, attack, and not too weighty if possible.
I like a bit more the G&L, but everybody talks good things about Sires.
Some advice about those basses (or any others) will be really appreciated.

I have a Sire V7 and a G&L JB Tribute. Both are excellent basses. Both have time at home practicing, live gigs, and studio work. I don’t believe you can make a bad decision between them.

I know some people don't like G&L headstock, but it looks nice to me.
About Sire's headstock, let's say it... I think I can get used to it.

That G & L is a fine instrument. I own four Fender Precisions, all the way from an original 1959/60 that I bought in 1978 to 2021 Fender Player Precision, and a Squier Fretless P. I enjoy playing ALL of them, the Tribute included. I agree with One Wav, pretty hard to beat either one.

I ended buying this G&L Tribute JB-2, sonic blue (although not so much blue), and did a couple of rehearsals/gigs, I'm really happy with it.
3,9 kg (8,6 pounds), a great neck and that beautiful jazz bass tone I was looking for!
