SB-2 is similar to the MIM J neck, but a tiny bit bigger to my hands. I had to get rid of my L2K due to neck size and got the SB-2. To be honest, I'm sold on the SB-2. I don't care for the overall "look" but tone-wise I'm more than happy. If I ever get enough $$, I'll get a USA L2K with #8 neck neck (owned one at one time but was an idiot and traded).

The JB2 and L2K necks are a direct swap, and the JB2 neck has the thinner 1 1/2" nut width.

I'm about to go down this route unless someone tells me it is not viable after all ...

How does the bass sounds when we use it for playing heavy music, such as death metal? Should i change the pickups?
