Little bit more progress:

Cut and glue angle for headstock:

Also rough cut bottom wing. And my EMG arrived, just waiting for a few other parts.

Although the fact that I'm waiting for parts means that I have time to turn our shed into a mini workshop, which means I can work from home!
Spent lots of money on some new tools
Just need to repair a leak and generally sort out the shed...

Both my Warmoth and my Stewmac orders arrived this week! The Schaller BML Light Tuners are really beautiful!

looking good, but you really need to taper that neck along the sides.

Which is better:
Gluing fretboard then tapering neck
or
tapering neck, gluing fretboard and going along the edge with a router

These days, I taper both to final dimension and then flush when shaping the neck. I would have tapered before gluing the wings as well.

- almost finished the bridge (just requires the brass saddles to be added on top of the purpleheart)

Did you make your bridge using Marios (T2W) tutorial? I it did right?. How are you going to anchor the strings? Are they going to run through the bass body?

Yeah it's T2W design and yes the strings will run through the body
