I just found this video. I really love this song and the bassline whether it is the Bobby Womack original or Gail Ann Dorsey.

LOVE the simplicity of this - simple but great bassline and fantastic vocie. I'd rather hear something soulful and simple like this than "fill up every millisecond second with multiple tapping/slapping/strumming parts" solo bass.
