Gallien-Krueger Amplification

Hi, i want to get a Gallien Krueger head and cabinet(s) and i wasn't sure if i would be better off with the backline 600 and BLX-115 and 210 cabs or the backline 600 with the GLX-410. Either way i want the 600 head but i was wondering what you guys think about the cabinets.

I'd say get the Backline 600 head and pair it with an Avatar 4x10 4 ohm cabinet.

What he said, but if you find a used GK 400rb-IV I believe they can be had for about the same as a new backline 600 head.

Can't say I'm a big fan BLX either, now find yourself a good used GK SBX 410!

The best idea would be getting the GK head and an Avatar cab,

even used if possible. The avatars are just better cabs IMO than the backline or glx series.

I have a GK600 and a gold series 4x10 cab, I love the combo. I really want to get a 15 to finish the full stack!

I use two GK 400 RB heads, they are about $300 each, 240 watts at 4 ohms each.
That way I can bi-amp them with two cabs and get full control over tone.. (mids/hgihs and lows) Works great for me! I actually run thru a Trace Elliot preamp and a compressor first, but the GK 400RBs sounds great by themselves and they are very rugged and reliable! Hope this helps.
