IMO not even remotely realistic...or consistent.
In June of 2022, I bought a used MB800 from Guitar Center for $399.
Granted, I got an absolute bargain for that amp - typical used prices for an MB800 are more around $500 - but I'm guessing that a sales associate with limited product knowledge didn't know the difference between the MB800 and the newer GK heads.

Heck, they have used Legacy 800s on their site for less than that MB800.

Yeah, it seemed quite insane which is why I hadn't even emailed them about it.

The MB Fusion 800 I posted, the back two feet are missing, which knowing GK, I probably can't get replacements (I've emailed about them anyway), and the bottom looks like someone took a steel wool sander to it lol. $599 isn't unreasonable for a 9/10 condition model, but this is easily a 6/10, maybe 5/10 at best... Oh well, I'll keep looking!

Kind of new to the GK world here. I did have an older GK 410 years ago, maybe a CX model, not sure, but that was it. It was a decent cab. I have a GK Fusion 800 S on the way now. Excited to get this one. Been running a Mesa for years but I am wanting that GK sound.
I have a question, kind of related to this particular head, but maybe just in general. I have always run my DI off a preamp/DI pedal to FOH. With this new amp, I am minimalizing my set up and I am going to run the DI off the Fusion head. My question having never run DI from the amp before is about Pre/Post DI. I know if I run it Pre DI then the house gets a signal before I EQ at the amp and Post after I EQ. But, does the house get the signal through the tube preamp Pre or Post? Or, is it just the signal that goes into the input?

Good question! The website and/or manual don't provide the answer to it, as far as I can tell.

So my guess is that it can't be "just the signal that goes into the input" because the whole point of an XLR out is to provide a balanced low-impedance send. Continuing with that logic, it would make sense to couple one of the 12AX7 triode stages with the input - in which case you'd have a tube in the XLR feed regardless.

GK often silk-screens a signal flow diagram on their amps; if there's one on the Fusion 800S it will provide a definitive answer to your question.

Thanks. Hope to find out. If the tube pre is part of the pre-EQ out I will definitely DI from the head. If not, I will pick up a pedal DI for FOH.
I am purging all my pedals an hoping to have just a tuner pedal and the amp or at most a tube or amp/cab sim DI pedal for FOH and tuner. Want less options in my life.

The second MB210-II did end up having issues; the wood was cracked in one of the back corners, the tweeter was non-functional, and it had a rattling speaker too.

Beyond that, it had vinyl covering rather than DuraTex and ceramic speakers rather than neos - I also noted that the neo's ports were at least double the length of those for the ceramic drivers, which means that the neo's cabinet is tuned lower.

Overall, the 1st combo that I got - the one with the neo drivers - just felt more upscale.
I called GK to ask when replacement drivers would be back in stock and Jason told me; "Oh, we have them".

So I ordered a replacement neo driver and returned the 2nd amp; I hope the replacement driver arrives before tomorrow, because this combo would be perfect for the patio gig I'm playing...

Replacement driver didn't get here in time, so I just used the amp as-is.

Even with a mild rub on one of the voice coils, the amp sounded great all night.

The MB210-II is definitely a keeper - I don't know many affordable amps that combine this level of performance and portability.

The 200RB is killing it through an 8 ohm 15 with a mids driver/passive x-over. Still deciding whether to use the SansAmp Bass Fly Rig along with, but it's a great sound, I really like what it does when I hit it hard, which I tend to do. Looking into an 800RB now.
I don't think I'll gig it with the SWR G-II Jr though, a 4 ohm box. Pushing it like that into 4 ohms for a night is probably asking for trouble.
