Gallien Krueger (GK) web site down? (BACK NOW)

GK was my 1st serious amp. Well if you don't count my Acoustic 360. That was a serious amp that I was willing to move in my teens. But that got heavy and GK was like "light" compared to the other offerings of the day.
I went 400RB to 800RB (frankly preferred the 400RB). Then I was bitten by the EDEN bug. Then MarkBass, Aguilar, Genzler and Mesa.
I dig all of them! But I could come full circle for a Class A/B GK head in that 300 to 400 watt range, for old times sake. 😉
One of the reasons I bought the Legacy 500 over the 800 even though the $ wasn't an issue was my memories of using 400RBs and 800RBs and never, ever not having enough power with the right speaker real estate (while sounding awesome too of course). I know the Class D thing is different but I was kind of going for that concept of a lower-wattage GK (GK watts of course--heck, even my MB200 is a little beast). If they do come out with a new non-classD RB line, I will be handing over my money for sure...

Yes RAG is Robert A Gallien, founder, engineer, president and still present owner and design engineer for his company since the late 1960's.
Yeah, I’m aware who Bob Gallien is….. just find it weird for you to reference him as an acronym for his first, middle and last name.

Like his mom yelling at him as a child,
“Robert A Gallien , you get down here and clean your room this instant!”

😂

He is member of TalkBass user name @rag hence people here are known to refer "rag or RAG". Use the @ and lower case letters and his profile shows.
