I'm sure you have checked this but, just in case, I see from the picture of your amp from Sweetwater, that there is a button in the output section of the controls that turns the horn on and off. IN for on and OUT for off. This button is IN isn't it?
Crank the treble and pop the G string. If you still don't hear much then there is definitely something wrong.
