i love mine. great tone, great power, super portable. can't go wrong.

Speaking from experience, when it works, its a great amp. But I only used mine on a few gigs and then occasionally playing at home with friends. Before long, the sound would sort-of cut back for a minute an then come back fully. Like that every few minutes. More recently, it still does that, but now it also distorts and cuts out entirely. 🤬

My post was back from 2016, I still have this amp....along with many others:) These days I'm playing on smaller stages so I usually bring a smaller markbass combo. However I do still use it from time to time, still works great and has proven super trustworthy after a decade of gigs.

Ive only owned and played through the older Rumbles, and by comparison the GK was a more powerful box than the Rumble 500. Also it depends on the tone your after, old school Fender Bassman type tone, or more modern and crisp. The Rumble is a great line, especially for the price range, but overall imo the GK has a more crisp and bigger sound, better components and more $.
