Also saw them last week. Gary spoke exceptionally highly about the band afterward, they really sounded phenomenal. Joey really brings something incredible to the group.

Gary Peacock has to be my all time favorite. Right now I'm really into the Tethered Moon sides, especially Chansons d' Edith Piaf. Very Deep. I love the Jarrett trio, but especially love his playing with Paul Bley.

I've had that Piaf side in rotation a lot recently as well. Has the added effect of reminding me how much I miss Motian. They're really deep into some **** on that one....

Here's where you can get an instructional video that he did. His sound is pretty bad on much of it, as it is being picked up by his lapel mic. His approach is a little scattered, but it's neat to see him hang out and talk about bass, music, etc.
