Yes. Probably you also know this video. Combination of the movie and his music is very nice.

There is a sampler video of the album out and abstract logix released a track on SoundCloud. I think it is some of his best work in years, if not the best. His use of space, attack, volume, his little noises like string scrapes, all of it just sits perfectly in the groove and is astonishing. He is in my opinion one of the most lyrical bassists, and I don't think anyone is as innovative in rhythym and phrasing as him.

I miss the combo of Willis and Covington, but Borlai isn't too shabby. They need to form a new group. I liked the stuff they did with Kinsey.

I thought that on Scott Henderson's site he mentioned that Tribal Tech would be back with a new keyboardist and drummer, the same drummer mentioned above...Borlai. ???

It is sad to see them end, but I have to say Scott was my least favorite member. Borlai can make up for Covington, and there is a video of him imitating Kirk that is pretty funny. I think, if they wanted too anyway, that they could find a guitarist that can do what Scott did. Guthrie Govan would be a pretty badda$$ addition. Although, that might be too much competition for the Aristocrats.

Well, that sucks.

I personally hate being in a band with jobbers, let alone Tribal Tech having to deal with trans-continental writing.

There will never be another band like Tribal Tech.
