i've only heard horrible things about them.
they used to be outright counterfeits, at least they've removed the fake logo.
still, this is very likely junk. buy a harley benton or something like that instead. there *are* wonderful cheap basses these days, please give those companies your hard earned money rather than whatever this is.

Go for it, it has the worst sound you can find but at least it comes with a flanger... Sounds like anyway!
Don't waste your time. I have a graveyard of garbage instruments like the Alibaba clones that I bought at a time in my life where want outweighed reason. Wound up spending more in the end than if I just sucked it up and financed something fantastic at 0% with the myriad of options these days available to players.
You'd definitely be better off to use a DI than to install an XLR in a bass unless you know how to convert the signal to balanced line. The DI does that conversion for you, so you don't lose signal integrity running longer distances. And while, as previously stated, some boards have 1/4" inputs, not all do. We use a Presonus "board" that's a rack mount about the size of a loaf of bread. All it has are XLR inputs. And I do mean, that's all. XLR inputs...XLR outputs, all on the front of the metal box. You use a tablet or a laptop for the controls.

There is a temptation to try it because how bad can it be? Everyone is saying that these suck, but maybe mine will be great. It won't. If you want to throw away $300, buy some lottery tickets. Maybe you'll win. Your odds are probably better.
so the odds are if i buy a glarry 6 string($50-125) and put 3-400 worth of mods in i'll have a better player then one of these? china fodrea copies? when that is also a "more known brand in glarry?
i have a 2001 MIM fender P
and a 1998 yamaha MIJ TRBJP 4 II so i Have quality basses and wanna see right? i'm not hurting in good basses is it odd i wanna try a Real china bass from the source? as a blind buy lol sheesh
(sure its for the looks and never had a 6er) and i've had 5 a great EB GSR 5er too for years) etc

Only if it was a Robert Goulét tribute band... two gigs in a day would be a... wait for it... doublét.
If you really want a "real China bass", get a Dingwall or an MTD Kingston and be happy for a long long time.

This is a random thought and I wouldn't be surprised if these things are coming off standard production lines set up by Western companies. Exactly how perfect women's designer handbag replicas hit the street markets in the West. The third shift.

The SansAmp Preamp/DI that I have has an XLR output jack as well as conventional guitar jack. No need to worry about adding one to the bass.
Now everyone's going to go back for another listen.
I took the risk on a cheap MM style neck from a Chinese dealer but I don't remember the seller's name. It had a convex curve at the back of the heel and was totally unusable in that condition. Luckily our local Men's Shed had a bench planer and we were able to get it flat. It's on my home made Fijian mahogany body now and is actually a very nice neck to play. The bass - below - feels and sounds great and I play gigs with it. I knew it was risky but the price was the deciding factor. Be ready for challenges.
