I've recently taken delivery of my new GB Rumour to sit beside my Spitfire and thought I would share it here for all to see :)

GB "GABBIE" RUMOUR 5 string by Bernie Goodfellow (http://www.gbguitars.co.uk)

    Neck :

35" scale, flame maple with purple heart stringers, madagascan rosewood fingerboard, front and back burr black walnut veneer on headstock (with "Gabbie" detail on the rear)

Schaller tuners with macassar ebony buttons

    Body :

Flame maple (check the sides out!) with figured black walnut bookmatched top and back facings.

Matching black walnut electronics cavity covers with magnetic cavity cover for the battery compartment.

Hipshot bridge with contrasting brass sadles and knobs in black (+ black locking strap buttons and toggle for GB Switch)

    Electronics :

GB Pickups and GB G Spot Electronics with inbuilt tuner and metronome

    Neutrik lockable jack socket

Full GB DSP sound-to-light unit with front LED magnifier fret markers (for those who haven't seen these in action, check http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=l22dtkq8srE)

    Side LEDs

Mother of pearl (not plastic) LED backlit illuminated GB logo.

It just doesn't get much better than this...! Enjoy the pics (just some quick shots in Bernie's bassment - some better ones coming soon!)

He he... you don't have to turn the lights on. You don't know that they are even there when they are turned off. To be honest, it's the side markers only setting that is the most useful, the sound to light front setting is only a bit of fun at those carefully selected gigs! (the audience go mad for them for some reason!! - and it's always good for outdoing the egotistical guitarists ;))
