G'day people, the name is Edo and posting here from Sydney, Strayllia.

I am actually a guitarist *gasp*...BUT...I love love LOVE fretless basses! I WILL have a proper upright bass in the future but as of now, I just got myself an old Vantage VS600B. Posting this soon to get help

I have been dabbling with the bass since at least 10-12 years ago and have been playing the guitar for 17 years now I think. Genres, I'd say jazz, gotta love those walking bass and big airy upright sound.

Brief intro done, now off to get some help in the other forum

I'm emac! I'm also a guitar played who found that bass is more fun. I'm in N.S.W as well. Welcome. Its a very big forum and easy to get lost. (I'm a newbie too) and find the place rather daunting.
