gear help!!

I don't know if this thread would be considered effects or amp heads so i am putting this in both, sorry.

but i have a mark bass II head i just got from guitar center, a Trace Elliot AH150 head at 150 watts, and a line 6 bass pod rackmount. I was wondering if i would be able to use the line 6 in either head as effects and how to hook it all up together, well if i could with both the mark bass and trace, mark bass being my main bass.

or if i should be able to use the trace elliot as a power amp for the line 6 and the mark bass as my main with effects??

also how to hook this all up to my 2x10 basson and 1x15 ampeg cabinet??

well, first off, you're not going to be able to move the basson cab with 150 watts. I believe Sean recommends 500 watts for them, you can get by with 350 but anything lower than that will provide crappy results.

150 trace and the ampeg 15 sound like a better match, I had an AH100. it should have a preamp in/out inputs on the front. plug the output from the POD into the preamp in of the trace. that will bypass the trace's preamp and let you use just the power block for your cab.

oh wait. you have a Markbass (one word) II? so i guess a LMII. plug that into your basson, game over. basson should be 4 ohms so 500 watts will give you more than enough volume and lowend than the 15 will ever provide.
