Basswave (Tony) and I have been reaching out to various vendors and so far we will have the following gear on-hand to preview:

* Joe Zon is sending us a ZON Standard Sonus
* Duke LeJeune is sending us an "Acoustic" version of the Thunderchild cab... should sound great with a Rob Allen
* George Furlanetto from F Bass will be sending us something, and may make an appearance!

More to come as we get closer...

Thank you, Andy.

Just to offer some explanation, the acoustic-friendly version of my Thunderchild 112 cab should work as well as the orginal for electric bass, but will be a bit better suited for acoustic bass and even acoustic guitar (electric guitar is a different beast, sorry). It can be modified to sound like the original in less than a minute, so it can give a representative demo of either one. Weight and cost unfortunately go up a bit as well.

This sounds fun. I can bring an Ibanez GWB-1 and an MTD 635-24 Frettless Marilyn. For amps I have an SWR Spellbinder Blue and GB NEOPak 3.5 and Neox 210T. I'll be coming from Waterford, CT ( as long as I can make it, the job is kind of crazy at the moment). When do you need a definate yes or no?

I'd love to check out AJ's Streamliner; that's the second mini-head you've got that I'm really interested to check out, after you got rid of the RH450 :D

If I can swing it, I'll have the following:

Basses:
-Dingwall ABI Elite 5
-Rickenbacker 4003
-Schecter C-4 Elite
-Ibanez ATK305

Amps:
-Audiokinesis Thunderchild (the boring 'vanilla' version :D)
-Eden WT400
-Eden D212XLT 8 ohm (for sale/trade)

Effects:
-Tech 21 VT Bass
-Tech 21 Oxford
-Digitech Bad Monkey
-Joe Bodenhamer-modded Ibanez TS7ovChaos

Guitard stuff:
-Budda Superdrive 30 combo
-Warmoth Strat-like thing

As always, looking forward to seeing everyone and all the great gear that shows up at these events.
Anticipate bringing the following:
Zon Sonus Special 5-string fretless (E-C)
Fender "Jaco" Jazz bass w/HG Thor epoxy
G&L L-1000 fretless
1996 Fender US Jazz Deluxe fretless (may be up for sale)
And, if a jam takes place with drums and all, I could bring my Carvin Vintage 16 amp and Gibson Les Paul Jr.

You're in Waterford? I'm in Norwich- small world. I've been wanting to play a GWB-1 for years- does it still have the ramp attached?

Come take the REDDI Test

[Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

I will have a REDDI there if anyone wants to A/B the difference this great DI does through a headphone amp.

I will be bringing down (in a addition to my previous post) SBMM Ray34ca modded with a John East and Nordstrand.

Sounds just like a mid 70's ray.

Oops, AJ- totally forgot to mail you a check... will take care of it today.
Also, if you are bringing your GB Streamliner then I most likely will leave mine home (SL 900), traveling from Cape Cod. If anyone does want to try the 900 then I will be happy to bring it, so small and portable it really is a snap to lug around!

Also I will leave home the EBMM Sterling. I will bring the Berg HT112ER if anyone wants to play through it.

Also, I expect delivery today of an Alesis VideoTrack Digital Recorder. Looks fairly low-tech but I figure for the money it is worth a try. Supposed to be decent for recording A/V; the sound is really good i've read in reviews. I will bring that as well....
