Geddy Lee Sansamp Pedal!

I’m getting there with the Roscoe. So far I’m trying these settings...

I put some non-Geddy tones together for a demo and a pretty extensive walkthrough of the features. Really suprised (and glad) I'm getting a lot more out of the YYZ than just Geddy (But the Geddy is awesome too!)

Great Video Thank you. Received mine today and can't wait to mess around with it .

Tight button is engaged...I think that will be the norm.

I don't own the pedal, but when I get one I (and I will!) I'm certain the Tight setting will be my norm. I'm all about focusing the dirt on the higher frequencies and leaving lows clean (or mostly clean).

Finally arrived and sounds great! Note that those aren’t my settings.
The flavor of gain is really nice, sounds good throughout the knob’s range. I definitely prefer the Tight button engaged too, not to mention a slight cut for the Mid control, which is extremely rare for me. Usually I like boosted mids but a slight cut sounds really great with the YYZ. Boosting the mids sounds awesome too, don’t get me wrong.

Man, I should have read the manual too! The recommended settings are pretty great and not what I would have found on my own. For example, in some of the suggestion the mids are boosted way up which I never usually do.

The YYZ will reluctantly be replacing the VT bass on my small pedalboard. I still love the VT Bass and it seems to come close to the YYZ, but I think the YYZ is "tighter", a bit more polite, and a bit easier to find usable tones.

I hate to say it but I think i like the YYZ better than the VT Bass, too. I do miss the Character knob a bit (a frequency control for the Mid knob would also work) but overall, the YYZ is pretty hard to beat. Even the extreme settings of the EQ knobs can still be usable.
