how many geddys does fender make in a year? is it a limited number or do they just pump em out? any chance that the value of this bass will go up in time, or will it be looked at as just another jazz bass?

It IS just a CIJ Fender Jazz with the inlays and features like the high gloss, shaved necks, and trebly pickups. It just happens to have someone's signature on it.Jeralya said:Its a nice bass but the love of the Geddy is getting tiresome... it just isn't original to play a sig. I would probably get one if they made a MIJ Fender Jazz with the inlays and cool features like the high gloss, shaved neck and the trebly pups. I think it is just too good a deal for the jerks at Fender, who love to extort every penny.

Would you refrain from playing a Les Paul, Roscoe Beck V, just because someone's name is attached to them?
