Yes indeed, that was the last full-Rick tour. He was, I believe, using 4 SVT fridges by then; two for the neck pickup, two for the bridge pickup. May have been just one fridge each, but yeah. It was a rig built for touring the Ric-o-Sound, despite him using the Jazz on some of the studio material by that point.

Lately I've been on a Geddy kick and just can't hear enough of him. Not that I want to play like him as I have my own style and we are nothing alike however, I really like what he plays and how it fits so well with Alex and Neil. Does anyone know which bass he uses on the album Counterparts, "Leave That Thing Alone"? Ric, Jazz, Wal, or something else? I am totally in love with the tone he gets on that song.

Counterparts is probably my favorite rush album after all the experimenting of the 80s and brought it all back to 3 piece rock while grunge was just breaking out.
Rush will always be the penultimate three piece
