Yes. A higher pot pushes the high pass filter out further. Whether you'll like it is another question. I run 500k and no tone pots on my P bass but I like a brighter bass tone that cuts through a little easier.

Just to get this on the record in this old thread, the pickup without exposed polepieces used to have a different set of specs. At least that’s how my slightly possibly fuzzy memory recalls it.
