Genz Benz 112T VS. Avatar SB112 Neo

I got a scratch and dent tolex Avatar for really cheap and had to search for the dent. I can't compare it to Genz, but if
you are a bargain hunter You will be happy with the 100's? you save, or you may be the "ultimate sound" category with price as no object?

I've owned my Neox112 for all of 3 days so don't put too much into what I say but I also use the GK 400 head (rbiv version) and the head is fairly bright tonally anyway so don't be suprized with the brightness out of either cab. I will say that the Neox responds well to amp and Bass Guitar eq'ing I have mine with the low mids bumped and high mids cut and the lows cut and it sounds good with my fiver and my fretless.

The Genz Benz NeoX-112T works for me. The cabainet size is slightly larger than typical 112s, and the 4 ports located in each corner of the front side combine to pump out really deep, rich lows. I posted sound clips made with a Genz Benz Shuttle 6, Fender jazz and a fretless Steinberger w/DI, dynamic and stereo condenser mics at http://ukiahbass.wordpress.com/.
