t shirt from Jeff a few years back

I have one of those shirts, too, and a hat. Roger sent me them when he was about to talk to Bootsy and couldn't remember what he used, and I remembered ;) Great guy and a killer company. But sometimes that corporate stuff happens.

Thanks Jimmy. Right back at you. Even though you're a great Ampeg ambassador and artist, you were always supportive of the GB crew. Thank you.

Roger and Jeff were kind enough to send me a number of t-shirts over the years as I was one of the early promoters of GB products here on TB. I even have an original white and blue GB "Tone Arsenal" t-shirt, yes white and blue with some red and grey mixed in. Unfortunately, it doesn't match my GB hat but that's okay.

Thx for the swag Roger!

i have one of those Genz Benz shirts and some real cool Sew on Shuttle patches too.. They look like the old NASA space program patches...... My Streamliner is still in heavy rotation... And the one amp that i fly with,, when i fly... Not only because it sounds great and is easy .. but the DI is one of the best...
doubles as nice preamp to record with too...

the one thing that wish that i had bought was a pair of the Uber 210s.... And now its too late.. The Uber line of cabs were equal to any of teh 'boutuique" cabs that are out there.. In fact, i think the ubers are/ were better in many ways.. I always get compiments on my stage tone.. .That feels good...
RIP Genz Benz... Love you guys.. Look, you are making me all teary eyed now!:crying::)

You cant miss it. it has the Arched windows on the 3rd floor... Loved that place.. .
But brooklyn is a big place!

Thanks guys for the nostalgia.
One thing's for sure, it won't be happening in Scottsdale. I've just completed a move to Brooklyn.

What will the future hold...??

I once played with Bowzer at the Hebrew Home For The Aged in Brooklyn. That was a fun gig. Bloomberg was supposed to make a speech, and he shows up right in the middle of a comedy bit and his handlers were telling us to get off the stage and let Bloomberg make his speech right then and there. Jon refused and did the whole bit before he let Bloomberg up. He was pissed...BWAHAHA!

Can't say I have a desire to move there, but I wish you guys all the best there!

Bloomberg.. hahahaha.. .That guy! ughhhhhhh..Glad you guys didnt cave in for him...
I moved in out in 94.... i loved the loft life... G train was right up the block. # stops to NYC under the river.. midtown minutes away.. best food 24/7.....From 88 to 94 my loft was from $1200 to $1500 a month. that same building in now about $4000 a month.... yeah i had a whole floor.. but still... I cant do that ... I dont want to do that.. But NYC is right there....center of the universe..
