I had to laugh when I started playing this amp.

As everyone says, a huge sound from a tiny package.

I like the bass, and treble boost.
I don't find the mid boost as usable. ( a little harsh)

I wanted the 3.0 10 T for playing with my acoustic trio. (guitar, bass, and Harp)

Will pickup a 10" extension cab down the road.
For gigs with a drummer.

These things are the bomb.

Note that the mid filter switch is a cut not boost, maybe that's why it sounded harsh?

When troubleshooting noise in a DI (applies to any amp), a couple of common faults we see are that pin 1 and 3 are reversed somewhere in the cable (mic or snake) causing unintentional unbalancing of the signal (and a 6dB reduction of level), pin 1 open somewhere in the cable or snake, and a missing or open power ground. I would say these faults are responsible for most DI issues on a properly designed DI.

Note that there are some DI's that do not play well with phantom power present, and some even fail dramaticly. Our DI's are fully protected but be sure to check this as a possible cause of problems.

Another thing to consider is that switchmode power supply (and SMPS/classD) topology amps tend to have a different noise profile with ground loop conditions. It's due to the currents leaked to ground that are not just 60 (or 120)Hz. (50/100Hz for you guys across the pond ;) ) It may sound more like a fuzz, a fuzzy whine, or even a mild distortion on top of the signal. Ground paths behave differently with higher frequency noise, and where the building ground system is not good, occasionally the only safe and practical solution is a special isolation transformer.

Is there any plans to make a single 12 enclosure like the shuttle SLT-10T enclosure? I'm sure the NEOX-112T is a great cab I just got a little OCD going and like my stuff to match. (once I get me 6.0-12T combo)

Hey guys, I hope this isn't considered spam, (if it is, mods please delete), just trying to help out my Pa. bass brethren.If you're in central Pa., and are looking to try out the Shuttle combos, (but find that all the local stores only carry Ampeg and Peavey), BCR Music in Lemoyne, (outside Harrisburg), has them in stock. I tried the 8" combo,the 10" combo, and, the owner allowed me to run the head through my favorite 4ohm 1x15 cab. Thumbs up across the board. Great stuff.

yes. Not to sound cliche but, by popular demand, we will have one as early as July. ....Summer NAMM....and an 8" ext. cab too.

Oh man, I was also looking at the 6.0-12T, but not having a matching 1x12 extension cab caused me to hold off. Now that's gonna change...:)

I have to still weigh (PUN intended) the pounds (32lbs vs. only 218 for the 3.0-10T - no big deal) and the price ($1095 for the 6.0-12T vs. only $729 for the 3.0-10T) before I decide which is best for my small gig amp...

Anyway, these Shuttles are so cool and the upcoming additional extension cabs will really open the door, as if it wasn't wide-open already, judging by the initial sales and popularity!

Hmmmm ... wonder how 3 of the 8" cabs would sound driven by a NeoPak at 2.67 ohms ... about 450 watts or so. Another mighty minirig ... about 40 pounds total, 450 watts into 3x8? Hmmmm ... or 500 watts into 4 of the little buggers ... Hmmmm ...

I just got in from a gig tonight at a local 5 star resort. The place was packed tonight, and the room is huge. I took my Shuttle 6.0 head, and also my Markbass LMII.

I started the evening with Shuttle thinking I would swap heads between songs. But I just couldn't tear myself away from the seductive, meaty, punchy, tuneful sounds I was getting from the Shuttle. Cabinet was my Epifani UL310. Bass was my Nordy VJ5 Jazz bass. In short, now that I have a few gigs under my belt with the Shuttle and I am more familiar with it, I am BLOWN AWAY. I truly thought I would miss the LMII and yearn for it's familiar SS quickness. But man, the Shuttle is plenty quick, but I swear it has more character to its voice that fills the band mix.

I did switch over to my LMII for a late set, and it did a fine job as I knew it would. But then for last set, I switched back to the Shuttle and realized; The Tone of the Shuttle just works better for me. We were louder tonight than ever before at this place. (we gig there often, so we are very familiar with the room, acoustics, etc) It takes plenty of power to fill this huge area. Let's just say my drummer (of all people) asked me to turn down. :D I had the Shuttle Master Vol at 12 o'clock, and input vol at 12 o'clock. The tube gain was set to give a medium red clip light. At one point I also engaged the low boost and man, the amp just rocked!!!!!!

The Shuttle just doesn't deserve to sound as good as it does. I truly believed I would gravitate back toward the LMII. But it just isn't happening. I am In LOVE with my Shuttle 6.0.

It just makes me want to 'collect the whole set' as they say!

I'm dying to pick up a Shuttle 3.0 - 10T combo for rehearsals and such. (and the 110 extension cab) I'll bet that little stack smokes too! But for now, the tubey warmth and goodness of the Shuttle 6.0 is the tone I hear in my head. Wow! I mean, this gig was the acid test and the Shuttle was freaking amazing! :hyper:

The best part is; I have a gig Saturday night in Tucson at a place called The Stadium Grill. They have the best house sound system and we always rock out there. Soooo, it's gonna be another night of Shuttle Nirvana no doubt!

I am so glad you guys are loving this thing... I feel validated after being told I am paid to love this stuff...lol. I am seriously amazed everytime I plug this rig in. How can it do what it does? (ritorical question- no need for full blown explaination)

Check out my new shuttle transport, it's an 18"x12"x4" CNB pedal board case. One side already had foam, so I strategically hot glued extra pieces in there to hold the Shuttle 6 and the strobostomp firmly in place when closed. The eggshell under the amp leaves plenty of clearance in the back for the power cable and speakon connectors. I went from a 70lb rack to 10lbs of this:
