Genz Benz Streamliner 600

The man who built that amp will be in shortly.
If you are in the USA, ship it to him and it will be as good as new for a low price and quick turnaround.
That sounds good. However, I must admit that I do not know who "The man who built the amp" is nor how to contact him.
I am in need of service for a Genz Benz Shuttle 6.0. If the man you mentioned is thebest source for service in the US. Please give me the specific info.
Thanks,
Tom

Contact Surrey Amps at Surrey Amps - Pro Amplifier Repairs

Ask for Stan Lawrence, let him know that I (Andy Field) suggested you contact him for this. He can email me directly, I can walk him through this issue. He's one of the best service engineers in the Europe IME.
Hey Andy, the amp is at Surrey Amps now, fingers crossed! Thank you for your help

Friday night I decided to take my Streamliner out of the closet and swap it out with my Magellan 800 that I have been using with a pair of GS112s in the studio where some of us old farts get together and jam. I am blessed with a number of rigs—all of which I love. I just hadn’t pulled the Streamliner out in quite a while. At one point I had considered selling it…the thought only lasted for a moment. Even though it had been “resting” for a while, it’s an amp that is so totally different from anything else that I have (it’s closest to my Alembic F1-x), both in sonic signature and, most definitely feel. Playing it on Friday was like being transported back in time with all of the fat and juicy sounds it was putting out. I was smiling all night. The recordings validated my experience. Although some newer amps have been said to improve on the Streamliner—and I don’t doubt that—it just fills a spot in my gear that I don’t want to part with. And, yes, it’s not going back in the closet anytime soon!
