This works best with a passive P type bass imo, and that’s kind of what the gain switch was scaled around.

You know I should have added that the Jazz Bass pictured is both active and passive, but the volume is very similar and very low so at one point I actually kicked up the gain to 3:00 and it sounded even better. I then also used a Fender Player Plus Active P Bass which has quite a bit more volume and that one I kept the gain at 2:00, but with the gain button still engaged and that bass sounded even better .

Made in Italy, carbon fiber ultralight cabinets in black and "natural" as well as wooden designs. Modern but versatile in sound. The 212 has a tweeter with a 3-way switch. I believe it offers Off, Half, or Full on.

I was a Barefaced user for about 10 years, but I tried the GR bass aerotech cabs and haven't looked back. They are excellent in my opinion, I have a 210 and 112. I've been using them for about 5 years now

You have a lot of options. Take a look at the current Genzler and Bergantino offerings, both are light and sound great.

I seriously considered a Shuttle and probably would have been happy with it. Really impressed with the Streamliner though, and like the simple controls.
I have been playing through a Nemesis NA 650. It tended to sound boomy and muddy in a small room, but it cleaned up very nicely when I dialed that out with an, "always on," HPF. The Streamliner's bass knob does that all on its own.

I got the Shuttle because it was available for a great price in the classifieds here and I’d always wanted to try one. I got the Streamliner just a bit ago and haven’t been able to do much with it as I started a new job. Can’t wait to really try them out side by side!

Not sure which model this is, found it on Marketplace, and freaking love it. 600W, 15 + 6.5 + 1". Sounds absolutely fantastic!

Also got a line on this 550W 15/6 that hopefully I will be able to have shipped to me from someone 5 hours away from me.

1 sounds amazing, 2 can only sound better!

I've been playing DB659+CA9 for a year now, but recently decided to give Streamliner (and PLX3102) another shot and wasn't disappointed at all. In fact, STL's mains output is so much less noisy than old aggie (got a nasty buzzy transformer) I'm now considering getting rid of the latter.

Driving two Markbass 4ohm 212 cabs with these (or 212+112)

I have an old Dazor desk lamp that emits loads of coolness and RF interference. While it is usually off when I play, sometimes I go from working at my desk to switching on an amp and forget to switch off the lamp. My Streamliner is noticeably less effected than any other bass or guitar amp I have used in there.

It’s a lot of work to insure an amp is immune to RF by design.

Joining the club...

Was looking for a class D amp so I could retire my rack rig. Saw a Streamliner 600 at a local store and put it on my short list. Looked on FB Marketplace to see one for $300 less than the store. I should have tried the one at the store first, it took a little while to get used to going from my Blue Tube, but it won me over in short order. I can make my passive/flats P sound syrupy, my EMG/rounds P sound clear, and my, erm, "student" EUB sound good. It even works wonders on a Roland SH-101 synth bass. I'll invest in a high-pass filter and switch to a non-tweeter cabinet if I want to play with heavy distortion.

For now, my "main" setting is low gain mode, gain at 2:00, bass at 1-2:00, mids at 3:00 (2.5k), treble at 11:00. Cabinet is a Genz-Benz 1x15 with tweeter.

The aux in means I can run my drum machine through my bass cabinet, rather than the mini guitar amp I was using previously, for songwriting sessions.

For the heavy distortion / tweeter thing... the treble knob is very cool - in that I think it is not just a standard treble knob like most amps.
I want to say I saw a post where it was explained that it was doing multiple things... To my ear, almost like a LPF or passive tone control.
Works great to roll the treble way back, and turn the mids up at 2.5 K for a very nice top end that cuts through a mix, but is super smooth.

Part 2: proving itself at a show. This was a festival where the cabinet was provided (an Ampeg 8x10 4 ohm).

The vest and top I was wearing took up more space in my backpack than the Streamliner. My settings from before sounded great in line check and in Instagram stories from the audience.

Is this voiced more B-15 or SVT? Either way, this amp is a real winner.

Nothing like a B-15 to my ears.
Way back in time, when the STL first came out, one of the users on here had an "SVT" setting and said he got the amps to sound very close.
I kind of get a Fender tube amp vibe from it.
