Genz Uber 115?

I'd think an Uber 115 could work well using the Uber 210 box. 20"x24"x18" is around 5 cubic feet (only 0.7 less than the fEarful 15/6) which should be enough for the 15" driver to sound pretty good. Much bigger than this, then portability becomes an issue if you want a pair of these with the Shuttle 9.0. I'd like to hear the Genz design team's thoughts on this.

This is Roger's call. We can do "anything", should we is the magic question! I know that Roger spends a great deal of time and energy thinking through what makes sense and what doesn't. He sees a much bigger picture than we do, and brings that to the table. Experience like this is "priceless".

Well, just speculate here for a moment. You've been here yourself for quite awhile, and must have noticed the feeding frenzy for the 15/6/1 cabs. Any opinion on these types of cabs from your point of view , not from a " will it sell " point of view ?

Well, opinions are like a**holes, everybody's got at least one ;)

My opinion...for some folks, and some playing styles they are definately the ticket. I personally like the sound for some applications too. TalkBass is a pretty small crossection of a generally higher end market with higher end players. What may seem like a no-brainer here may not be so simple out in the "real world".

+1.. Roger has been in the trenches and knows his gear.. And the Market!

Each different cabinet form factor seems to be aimed at a specific target anyway, tens, twelves, fifteens. Judging by the surprisingly receptive response from the 15/6 type cabs, I would think it could be a viable product for a major manufacturer.

And while TB is a small cross section, it's growing fast. Over 145,000 members and 8 million posts. That's pretty impressive!

I would love to have a pair of Uber 1x15s. No need for that 15x6 stuff. I do not even use my tweeter in my 15 cab. Why put a tweeter in a 15 cab? You got to know the guy using the 15 is going for old school.

Lets have it.

Genz Benz we want an Uber 115!!!!!
