Less flexibility, totally. But what I dig about it is one handed haul for the whole rig in a small size that gets full power out of the amp.
I guess you could increase the schlepp, add a 10 on top to go to 2.67 ohms, a 2 piece rig of doom.
A great trait for Genzler is innovating products that others haven't thought of, or produced. Avoiding being a "flavor of the month" company keeps them on the radar and map. Jeff and crew are known as innovators, not imitators.
Genzler has not produced duplicative product types that are readily available in the current market. It's a wise survival and success strategy, leaving one to ask, "What will they think of next?"

Just get the 210-3 and the 800. Very unlikely you will need more power.
Want some height - an amp stand will look after you... need more power... the 410 beckons...
I rarely need more than 1 12-3, but I bring 2 anyways cause I like how they sound together. I never or hardly ever get above 1/4 volume...
Thats a great option for the power. Why I like the vertical stack is getting the doubling of cones in the line array, all in one cab with a lot less size and weight as the 800/410. Its just one of those dream rig ideas, maybe no real viability as a product given so many combinations available.
The gig last night was Da Bomb, which pretty much means 'fantastic' for those of you who aren't hip to the jive!! 
The 350 Combo/BA12-3 stack had a small footprint, which is a good thing, but the sound was HUGE and I only had to push the volume to 11 and the Gain to 9:30!

At practice this morning I had the chance to use my newly acquired Radial Firefly Tube DI for the House and my Devon Gen5 Cocobolo bass through my Genzler 350 stack. By far the best bass tone I've ever heard. The DI is fantastic on the Genzler but side by side comparisons I could audibly hear a huge difference in the house tone with the Firefly. The tone was so thick and fat while remaining clear.
I'm having a really tough time not pulling the trigger on the Devon sale this weekend.

He’s sold about every 5 stringer he has but 1 or 2. Sold 4 since yesterday. Man you won’t come close to a bass that nice for his prices.

The one I had my eyes on just sold.... so my marriage is safe for now!
So for those of you who have the 350, any issues with active basses? I notice it doesn’t have a pad button like the 800 does.

I own all active basses with 18v preamps and never a issue with it clipping. Honestly it puts out so much volume that I’ve never had to come close to pushing it more than 50-55%. That’s in churches and venues anywhere from 400-4000 people

Thanks, my basses are all 9v so good to know there won’t be an issue.
The PRS Grainger 5 is a high output bass, such that I took the two 9volts out of it some time ago and used it as a passive bass. But I put batteries in it last night and used it with the 350 and it didn’t have any issues. None!
Damn you TalkBass! I have read all the glowing reports and watched all the videos, and succumbed to temptation... I have ordered a Genzler Magellan 350 from Mark Gollihur to go with my two Barefaced One10 cabs. I'm a doubler, and looking forward to it. I read a couple of reviews that stated the Magellan adds "weight" to the notes, particularly in the higher register. This is an area where a lot of amps seem to wimp out. There appears to be no distributer here in New Zealand, hence purchasing blind from Mark. Hopefully it will arrive in a week or so.

I was a doubter of those 350 combo comments, too! I suspect it wasn’t so much the size as it's only a 350.... and the size!! I don’t do a lot of different types of gigs and I really couldn’t speak to which type the 350 combo wouldn’t work in giving the various support options available, but I’ll go out on the limb and say you will
be pleased with your decision. I personally like the MG800 with the BA210-3 over the 350 combo, although the combo is an easier grab and go, but I wouldn’t kick either one out of a gig!!

I know, but folks say a lot of things that's not really true!!! But I'll trust what you say from here forward........... as long as it has the Genzler brand!!

IMHO the 800 on top of 2 BA-10s is the best setup I've ever had. I've even found a way to incorporate the DRIVE channel into a classic country band. The CONTOUR control is the "secret sauce" on this amp. I get a thrill every time I fire up with my Fodera Monarch. Our lead guitar player uses a 50 watt Dr. Z head with a closed back 2x12; very loud and I've never had to go past 12 O'clock on the MASTER. FYI the settings you see on the head controls is what I use. If I'm in a corner or a low ceiling club I'll back off a bit on the BASS control to eliminate bloomy low end. I like a "punchy" sound.
