Nice! I think I've seen you mention this amp/cab in previous posts - is there something new in the setup or was this just a good opportunity for a family portrait?
Actually, the family was away, which afforded me the opportunity to enjoy my equipment, properly.
Gotcha. I enjoy those opportunities as well but they're less frequent since COVID - the family is pretty understanding but it's nice when you can freely let 'er rip.

My old Genz Benz Artist photo. This rig has been through thousands of shows and never slowed down. The ShuttleMAX 12.0 and Uber Cabs were easily the best rig I ever had.
Then this happened......
Now, hands down the Genzler Magellan 800 and Bass Array Cabs are the most amazing rig I ever heard. I look forward to the day I can hear this rig live and loud again!!!

I saw your Uber cabs in one of the older promo vids for the band and I thought maybe they were the 410 and 210 but looks like that's a 212? If there was a 212 bass array do you think you would pair that with the 410 instead?

Probably not. I’m a 10’s guy and I ended up selling the Uber 212 and got the Uber 210 instead. I replaced it all with the Genzler Rig above.
But I tell ya, the BA410-3 with the BA15-3 SLT is something special!!

Those GB Uber cabs were excellent stepping stones to where we are today. Genzler Amplification is that next generation of what we previously achieved.
I owned an Uber Quad. Back in the day.

I wonder what that would sound like if one played with the two BA12-3 cabs at about a 30 degree or so angle between them (a V) with the top cab straight on.
I personally would prefer giving the line array in vertical the most preference as that would be the most efficient presentation of the line array.

I just tried a tube amp with a BA15-3. Who all has used a tube amp on top of a BA15-3? Or a pair of the cabs. I don't think I am allowed to post a pic.
I did sound for a small festival this weekend and also played a short set with my duo partner before the headliner.
I figured that, since I'd already have my MG800, 2x12-3 rig (overkill for the duo, but they sound just as good quiet as they do loud) there, I'd make my sound gig easier by offering my rig to the opening band. That was fine, but, when they showed up, their bassist saw the size of the Genzler, and dismissed it as too small.
So... He pulls out his "superior" rig, of a GK 410 (I didn't notice the model, but it's one with the chrome grill.) "Passable," I thought. Then, he pulls his head out: a GK Backline. It was then I knew I'd be taking a DI before the amp. (When I'm doing sound, I try to either use a post-preamp DI, or mic cabs, because I know the frustration of having good gear, yet having it go to waste with a DI.)
So, I mixed their set and did ok, although he was too hot on stage, with no definition.
When I did my set, just to educate him, I muted my bass in the mains and monitors for our short sound check (they were still striking their gear) and opened my rig up for a bit, and said, "oops!" "I was still muted," loud enough for him to hear. The look on his face was priceless.
My professionalism returned, and I went back to my saved settings. I wouldn't have done it, but they weren't that easy to work with, especially for an opener.

Arrived the other day - the new (to me) GB Uber 210. Missing the brand plate which knew about and is a bummer but otherwise seems in really good shape. Pardon the mess in the background - I'm currently relegated to half of a spare bedroom. So far I'm just running it on its own through the MG800 and liking what I hear but after I've had some fun with that I'll add in one or both 12-3s just to see how that goes (in half of a 10x12 room)
