I feel like the MG800 does everything I need so no need for any other amp. I have a BA-12 which is the best cab I've played! If the cash and gigs where there, I'd get the BA-15 fo sho!

So since there is likely to be no or only virtual NAMM this coming year - what do you think Genzler introduces for products? Better - what would you LIKE Genzler to introduce? Also, if there is some sort of NAMM - it’d be pretty cool to do a live interactive with some of the endorsers.

FWIW, I think the BA-15 is the tightest, most articulate but still fullest 15 I've ever played. I had GK, Eden, Markbass...none were like this cab.
I only got to use it on one loud rock gig where I used it by itself and it was great. I have a BA-210 as well and look forward to bringing some noise with both soon. Funny thing is that all of Jeff's cabs work great alone or when paired up with other cabs of equal or different configuration. The array is wonderful concept that opens them up without any tweeter harshness. Hard to describe in detail but they are pretty unique. Must be tried.

That’s the combo I’m planning to switch to when life returns. 15 with the 2-10, not that there’s anything wrong with my dual 12-3 stack but I can just hear it calling to me from the abyss...
I had the dual 12 stack and it was great. Simply blew away the MB 15 + 210 I had. Not even close. But the 15 and 210 is great+++ (for me). I love the versatility of each single cab solution and then the combo of the two just kills. I'll never buy a cab again (yeah, right).
I’d love to see the Magellan head updated with a second semi-parametric mid and a tube preamp. You wouldn’t need the contour or overdrive sections. I’ve got the money whenever it gets released!

I know the majority of musicians consider amp racks outdated, but I'm still part if the small minority who like to rack their amps. Anyway, I rackmount my Magellan 800 and just replaced a 6u MCM medium depth rack case with a Gator GR-4S. The depth was a little different so I had to modify the rack shelf a little to make it work. I took some pics this time so I could share how I do it. I mocked up the amp where I wanted it with the shelf mounted from the back. I drilled holes in the shelf where the feet can be inserted from the bottom (had to use longer screws). I used a vented faceplate and cut out the area for the face of the amp.
Had a fun show last night to close out our 2020. It’s crazy how good this rig sounds!

I've been running a BDDI as an always on pedal through a MG 800 and it sounds great.
I'll be posting a pic of my Magellan 12TV when it arrives, placed on top of my GB 212. I've been a GB user for years. I purchased my Shuttle 9.0 when GB was closing up and GB stuff was being blown out for cheap, and new! I've had the 9.0 ever since (recently serviced by agedhorse). A 6.0 came latter on as a back up, then a Neo212 cab.
So the Magellan 12TV will be my first Genzler purchase! I read "24 lbs" and "the best 12" ever made" enough times to make me pull the trigger. The GB Neo212 is light for what it is, but it will be nice to have something REALLY light and portable. I've read such great reviews about that little cabinet.
If anyone is interested, the GB Shuttle 6.0 is for sale in the classifieds (to help fund the new cab).

Oh boy, let’s get this train running again! LOL, I was practically kicked out of this club when I brought up I was looking for a rack for my Magellan!
This came out fantastic, especially the front face grill. I would be really interested in how you did that. I gave up on a rack, but would reconsider it after seeing yours!!

You’ll love it. I’ve had Genz Benz or Genzler for a LONG time. The 112T-V with a 350 on top is all I’ll need. It has served me well on all kinds of situations with real drums, guitar, even in a musical pit. Great combo. Easier to carry than the BA10-2 combo I had before!
Glad you like it. I thought it turned out pretty good. To make the faceplate, I mounted the amp in place on the rack shelf without tightening it so I could slede it back and forth (all rubber feet mounted under the shelf for correct height). I mounted the vented faceplate on the front. Then I slid the amp forward so it was touching the vented faceplate. Then I used a straight edge to mark the top and bottom of the amp by eyeballing it and freehanded the corners. When I was satisfied with how I outlined it I had one of the mechanics at work cut it. He said he used a small cutting wheel. A band saw would work also. I would avoud a jig saw because of the up and down motion. Then I filed it a little to clean up edges and burs, and sprayed the whole faceplate with a couple coats of black semi gloss to coat any bare metal. Hope this helps. Cheers!

@GroovyBaby --- Thank you for stepping over from the GB gear to GENZLER. I'm sure you'll appreciate the weight, size and performance of this cabinet. Should sound pretty nice with your Shuttle 9.0. Looking forward to your comments once you've check it out.
Thanks Jeff! Will do. My Neo212 is my favorite cab for its articulation and full range response. It replaced my BagEnd 15" stack (which I still have). The Magellan cabs seem to be the successor to the Neo212 so I thought they would play nice together for times I need the volume of both. I have a Mesa D800 that can handle the ohm load. I haven't yet tried the Genzler amps but I'm sure that is just a matter of time! A Magellan 350 with bracket on top of the 12TV is just so damn portable.
My favorite sounding amp was my GBE 750. I sold it when I got the 9.0 because of the weight difference but man did that thing sing! I still droll over them when I see them come up for sale.
There was nothing wrong with that old Genz Benz stuff. I really liked the Shuttle 6.0-12T combo I had for a long time, but the Neo-Pak was one of my favorites.
