So not sure if anyone responded, will the 350 push 2 cabs for moderate volume gigs with FOH?( I already have a 350 which is why I’m asking) otherwise I can experiment with using the xlr out into another amp I have in my rack for now.
I use my mg350 into two vert stack GK cx210 and have no trouble with a loud drummer and two guitarist with 4x12 Mesa cabs and triple rectifiers.

Has anyone compare a fearless 12/6 to a Genzler 12-3? I have a 12/6 at the the house, and the low end is big but tight.
I do have a 3012HO with horn to compare but no 3012LF with 6". But I also do have a 15" cab with a 6" and have compared it. What I noticed, when comparing an array design with any of the many bass specific speakers, is that there is a significant differential in the side dispersion as well as "throw"; in other words I can go out in the audience, with someone else playing , and move side to side and have an immediate sense of the array design differential. I briefly owned a PA with this design and noticed I could put it in the back, in many situations, and not have need of monitors, as it covered the entire stage. If I ever get rid of my current PA I will definitely move back to that type of design.

I use the 350 combo as my home practice amp and for jazz quartet gigs - drums, electric guitar and synth/keys. We're pretty loud and this little combo keeps up just fine at about 1/2 gain and master. My Roscoe B string is almost thunderous. It is just 175 watts into a single 10 but so there are limitations but all things considered, a FANTASTIC amp, and the best small combo that can still hang with a drummer out there - IMHO.

Thanks.
This weekend I used the 350 for the first time and brought my Quilter BB800 just in case. I ran the XLR out of the 350 (post eq) into the XLR in on BB800 (using it just for the power section) just to see what that would be like even though I didn’t need that kind of power. It’s a pretty interesting combination actually. Slightly different flavor in the lows I think. It’s totally overkill frankly as there is nothing wrong with the 350 on it’s own and the eq on the 350 (I don’t use anything radical) is sweet sounding. That said it’s a nice emergency backup to have 2 things that could function independently if needed (knocking on wood) and also work together if I play the Garden ;))
I’ve got another head around for a spare so it might not justify keeping the BB800 just to use as an amp....

Cadillac problems as they say.

But nowadays i only am concerned about what is happening in my immediate area and the stage/ band. But more so my area about a 6 foot circle around my feet. . I let the House guy do is thing without me interjecting.. I know that i really have no control over what happens out there. And i realized that if it does sound like poooo out front, it's NOT my doing.. Of course i care. But it's beyond my control and i can't let it affect my gig..

Very sound advice.

Do you use any other "outboard" gear, such as OD, comp, etc? And if so, do you feed that effected (affected??) signal to the FOH or is that tone just for stage monitoring purposes?

Inquiring minds....

So much this. I send a signal that is bass and my OmiCabSim to the FOH and I get that back for my IEM's. I like the sound in my ears and so does the band now with the cab sim on. I let CJ worry about the FOH. Too many people don't understand what it takes to make THE GROUP sound good. It may mean eq'ing your bass totally different than how YOU want to hear it. Get over it. Get a sound you can live with for your monitoring and let the FOH mixer make the group sound good.

I used to run straight into my REDDI then to FOH then pedal board into amp .. But now i have gotten my gain structure very even.. And noise floor to just about zero from what i am told.. So i run my pedalboard into the REDDI so i can hear effects too in my IEMS without extra stuff.. I use octaver from time to time and maybe some sans amp.
I really need to use my Switcher (It takes all things out of the signal chain when its not in use).. ..
Im just too lazy since been pulling things on and off the Minimal PB..I was using this in a Pit Band situation a few weeks ago.. I didn't need an amp in the Pit orchestra.. Otherwise it runs out of the THRU from the REDDI

Tuner>Octave/ Fuzz? Compressor> Reddi.. The MXR was replaced by the sans amp bbdi V2 that i just got ..

I have a TC Corona Chorus and a my old BOss OC2 that is on my other PB right now and my .. This one is going to be updated next week to a larger one to fit my REDDI

You using the BBDI as an EQ? Or OD? Or both?

My Magellan 350 came in today. Won't have it on a gig until Friday, but so far(knowing what "works" for me on the gig), it sounds like it will be fantastic. It has a really great sounding midrange, but a lot more clarity/definition up top than say the Quilter BB800. I like the low string definition too. Looking forward to using it in a dense mix.

I had the same experience with the bb800. It just seems to choke the life out of my high end and I’m not even a bright tone person.

I really liked the Quilter for some things(its great with a P-Bass), but I just didn't find it versatile enough. It was OK with upright, while the Genzler sounds great. Also the DI, or lack thereof, on the Quilter was one of the major reasons I moved it as I just don't have the space for the REDDI on some of the stages I play, and a post master "DI" is just not ideal. After playing it for a couple of days, my only regret is not getting the 800 instead ;) But the 350 has easily enough power for the work I do. I've got a show on Friday playing 60's/70's rock and R&B with a 4 piece band(and 6 singers), so that should be a pretty good trial!
