@Jamvan ---- Yes, the pedal is designed to work nicely with our Magellan heads and their EQ points. The RE/Q pedal offers Peak/Dip EQ networks, and the freq points for the 5 bands are: Low 90Hz; Low Mid 250Hz; Mid 630Hz; High Mid 1.3KHz; High 2.8KHz. These frequencies all fall nicely between the Shelving networks for the lows and highs of the Magellan amps.
The EQ network controls on the RE/Q are more graceful in the center range of each control to keep them a little more "musical" in the mid rotations of the control. They get more dramatic towards the farthest ranges of the controls /+ or -. The pedal also offers a cut/boost of 9dB which offers even more versatility of use. Makes a nice "clean boost" or an EQ/tonal shift or boost of a specific musical passage. This pedal will also be a nice option for doublers for added EQ flexibility of their upright basses.

Jeff- one friendly suggestion, like many Genzler customers I am a doubler - but the demo videos really aren't oriented at all to more traditional styles of bass playing, let alone upright players. Its hard to envision how the slap and hard-hitting stuff in the demo might translate to less aggressive styles of bass playing. Maybe a demo for doublers or more roots-style players? Just a thought.

I was fortunate to test the re/Q pedal and can honestly say it works great with the Magellan amps and is a must with the 4-OTF!

That is one incredibly well done video. Nate is always clear and articulate with his explanations, and the frequency plots really add to my understanding of what's going on.

As for the pedal, well I'll be ordering that very soon!

I could see the HPF/LPF filters very helpful for doublers.
I am starting to experiment with that idea in my country band.
I have been concerned about volume drops and EQ needs changing on the fly from my piezo-equipped Azola to my P bass.

I haven't picked up the 4otF yet because I really don't need it and barely touch the drive channel on the MG. But this is absolutely amazing and so well thought out (as we all would expect from the geniuses behind it).

I had an MG350 and a BA setup. Decided to get an MG800 and figured then might as well get a 112/210 Nu Classic set to go with it! Oh, and the new pedal! Now I will be fasting for 6 months while I pay off my music budget!

Not to derail the excitement over re/Q - but what recommendations for pedalboard that is larger than Pedaltrain Nano, yet doesn't look like a boxcar? Would like to be able to use the Cioks 5 (drilled into underside of Nano). Should hold 4OTF, re/Q, Polytune, Becos Mini, EHX Oceans 11 and...? I realize I might need to go to Cioks 7. But anything that is easily swapped out. Thanks!

You can customize any pedal. The CIOX mounts nicely underneath the board. Plus the modules makes for a nice clean board!
