Thanks for all the responses. Seems like what I’m doing is fine but thought I’d check in to be sure.
Anyone here Played both a 2x15 Ba stack and a 210+15 BA stack? My 215 stack was incredible, but thinking a little added punch from a 210+15 combo might be a sweet spot.

You’ll get more punch and quickness out of the BA210-3. It’s a great match with the BA15-3. Big round, articulate low end with the mid punch of the 10’s. The 3” Arrays are the cherry on top. All together, it’s a 4 ohm powerhouse that would fill any size room. Especially with the Magellan 800!

My view is that the 15/15 stack will have more coherency. It BASSically gives a coupled low end boost (same exact tuning two 15”s) with the extended line array. Doesn't mean a player may not prefer one to the other.
I loved my dual NV115s (from another great manufacturer) and I'm sure two 15-3s is just like hot chocolate with whipped cream (real whipped cream, not that aerosol crap). I use mine singly or with a 410 for the "big rig", so yeah, I have never done the 2x15-3 thing myself, but I'm sure it sounds great.

Man, you sure keep your gear in pristine condition for the many gigs you play. Do your roadies travel in a padded van?
For those of you playing multiple NU Classic cabs - how have you set the tweeters? I've just ordered an NC 210 and 112. I'll experiment with them when they get here of course but just curious how others are handling it.

I thought the same exact thing the moment I saw Joeykun's post.
I only have one NC112 at the moment and might get a second depending on how I like the two MG12T-Vs, so I'm also interested in any feedback regarding two Nu Classic cabs together.
The thing about the 15 + 210 combo, for me, is that I find absolutely nothing wanting in my tone. There are no holes where in other stacks, or just one cab by itself, I can identify. Single cab or non-Genzler cabs always seem to leave me wanting more of something-- bottom, mid or top end. With this stack I get EVERYTHING and I feel that every note from my bass is represented on the sonic spectrum. That's not to say other combinations or single cabs don't sound good...they just are either colored in some way (that you either like or don't) or have, for lack of a better description, holes in the sound.
Sorry for the ham-fisted answer but I can't imagine a better combo (except two of everything, one on each side of the drummer so maybe this time he'll listen!).

Agreed. There’s something special about a 210 on a 115. Like you said, there are no holes. All the freqs are covered. The happy medium for me has been a 212. If I didn’t have to carry gear, it would always be a 210 on a 115.
Curious here… what difference would I hear comparing the BA210-3 to two BA10-2s? I know everything is different - different drivers, different crossovers - so what would one hear? Has anyone made the comparison?

A little hit-n-quit gig this afternoon. One of the rare gigs where I get to play a REAL rig (not IEM). The little 10-2/MG800 combo killed. Had to back off the Bass a little on the MG800! Fat and clear but not sterile. Punchy, punchy, punchy.
I love those little 10-2's and I love Genzler.

a short time ago I was moaning about the availability (or lack thereof) of Genzler cabinets in Europe. Mr. Genzler himself gave me some pointers and by no I'm aware of the various sources over here. Great guy, this Mr. Genzler!
Now things are getting serious and I want to invest in a dedicated rig for our rehearsal space. I'm pretty sure I want a Magellan 800 for the rig, as I'd like to have the option of overdrive if its called for and I'd be able to make room for the footswitch on my small pedalboard.
I need a shove or two in the right direction regarding the cabinet. I'd like either a slanted 12" array cab or the 15" array. The slanted 12-3 would be ideal for teaming up with my existing 12-3 if I ever had the need for moving more air. However, you guys are raving about the 15-3 so much, I'm realy intrigued (and possibly teaming it up with a 210 or second 15) . Stacking my existing 12-3 on top would be possible, but it would go on my nerves eventually. I'm not good at keeping my place tidy, but I can barely stand tower of non-matched cabinets.
The 210 or 10-2 are out of the question, as my bass has enough punch already and I'd rather like more booty.

I can tell you how my Genzler cab odyssey went.
Single 12-3, I was one of the early adopters, straight was my only choice
picked up 2 more 12-3 straights.
Loved the 2x and 3x stack.
But GAS hit, and I sold one of the 12-3s, back to 2 for a while.
Started working on songs for my zeppelin band, and thought if I'm gonna really rock it, I need a 410-3
So one of the 12-3s was sacrificed on the road to a 410-3.
So far so good 12-3 and 410-3 go great each soloed (12-3 for my not-so-high volume country band), or together, a formidable stack of doom for zeppelin.
Then the 15-3 came out. which I knew I would prefer over a solo 12-3 for country. And I was right.
So now, after about 3 years. I have one 12-3, one 15-3, and the 410-3.
Usually just need the 15-3 for the Country Band
Usually just need the 410-3 for the Zeppelin Band, but have used either the 12-3 or 15-3 on top for outdoor Zeppelin gigs.
What does that mean for you?
I highly recommend a stack of 12-3 straight and 12-3 slant. many folks on here use that stack.
I've actually never tried a 15-3 with a 12-3 (straight only, which is what I own). I've always either soloed those or paired them with my 410. but I'm sure that would sound good too.

Love my 12-3 trio. I have str - slt - str.
If I were to change it - I’d likely go slt-str-slt.
A couple guys on here are really liking the 15-12 stack but like you it would drive me nuts. I’d either have to go all 15’s or 15 and 210….
