That is exactly my modern country rig. now, if I just had a modern country gig.
What kind of strings are you running on the L2500? I love mine but find I’m often fighting the honky tone of the mfd pus. The contour knob really helps dials the mods down I find in a good way.
I splurged for TI flats for the 5 string. after I got the second mortgage.....
That’s probably the best thing I’ve found for it as well. The Jazz rounds are nice too but I think I’m putting the flats back on this.

Ok am I missing something. I thought the MG could go down to 2.6 ohms not 2 ohms. I have been thinking about getting the 212t. I wanted to run it with my two Genz Benz Focus 112 cabinets but thought I couldn’t
@Jeff Genzler responded to @Basselink’s question and stated that with Genzler cabs, you can safely go down to 2 ohms.

Hello @woody357 ---- as mentioned above if you're running GENZLER cabs (even the olderGB Focus LT cabs) you could run your MG-800 down to the 2 ohm minimum load. Set the Impedance switch to the 2.67 ohm position. Our cabs are pretty straight forward with their impedance ratings so you'll be fine. There are other manufacturers that have been in the market place where a 4 ohm cab is much closer to 2.6 ohms. I know of several players using 2 GENZLER 4 ohms cab with their MG-800.

Well, either the reviewers have, or they have not; the thread moves so fast that I wanted any reviewer to see the question, had they done so. I am assuming they were only sent the 210/115, but thought one may have had a 12 laying around. I will likely have one as soon as any non-reviewer, and can answer that question with my ears and am patient - they are shipping soon. I have another cab set with a 112 and a 115, and they pair pretty good, so I suspect these will as well, was just curious. Personally, in general, I am more of a fan of 15’s & 12’s than of 10”s, and am not referring to any particular manufacturer.Patience grasshopper...
I already have 2 that I've been using with my Forte HP but it's nice to know I can use it with my MG800!
i have been waiting on the Mesa Subway 1x15 cabs to become available again in the indefinite future. I'm wondering about the Genzler Nu Classic 115T as an alternative. They will be available in a couple weeks.
Has anyone had the chance yet, dealers maybe, to compare the sound of the Subway and Genzler 1x15 cabs?

Had a chance to try out the pre-release Genzler Extinguisher last evening. It comes with switchable HPF and LPF along with a handy trigger function that tames all those unruly flare ups.
And did I mention the tone? Silky smooth over everything!

First time out with a double 12T-V. Didn’t need 2, but it sounded amazing.
I don't need a pair either, but I wish I did because it looks so damn good - and probably sounds pretty decent as well.
