@RevOgre --- Thanks for the question. You could run the amp mismatched to the impedance of the cabinet, setting the IMP switch to 2.67 ohms and running a 4 ohm cabinet, but I don't think you'd feel much of a difference unless running the amp at full power output, and that might be degligable.
I'm not sure of the end goal you're trying to achieve, but if you're looking for more of a driven tone at lower volume output, you can easily achieve this with the amps gain structure and Master volume. This is part of the versatility of the KINETIX.

You don't unless you need to drive a 2 ohm load.
I guess I'm not inherently risk-adverse - I used to use a 1600W power amp into whatever I was using.
I'm not saying to not be risk-adverse, but if you don't go crazy with your EQ and you listen for distress or unusual sounds coming from your cab(s), you'll usually be OK!

Except that the amp has a 2.67 ohms switch, so it doesn’t apply to this amp.

I have found that most players can’t hear their drivers being stressed until it’s too late.
This rig sounds so good.
What I noticed last night. Anytime in the past that I wandered over to the other side of the stage during the show, when out of the line of my rig, I could still hear it, but it sounded faint and distant. I noticed last night when on the other side of the stage it sounded almost like I was still over in front of it. I didn’t realize the projection on these cabs.

How do you know the cattle likes your tube sound? Do they smile?
May be their beef tastes sweeter afterwards ....

That is the beauty of the array system....and why I purchased the BA410 a few years ago. My band is 'old school' (we use floor wedges etc and no IE's) and we don't like running instruments through the monitors. With the Genzler cab everyone can hear my bass clearly and if I decide to venture around the stage I still have a good reference for myself. We don't play a ton of gigs with sound engineers but I've had a few in the past check out the cab and have been very impressed with the design, volume and clarity that this rig provides. You've got a sweet rig there!
