They do! So much that I leave it on the bridge pickup 90% or the time. Parallel(middle position both pups) is just too much!
Nice rig! Have you tried the Magellan on the bottom and the Arrays on top? Might be able to get more of the array dispersal at ear level around the stage.
I want to praise the cone tweeters in the BA cabs, again, for beautiful tone.

Even if most of us don't need or want a literally hi-fi bass rig, I think it's very interesting, very helpful for discerning differences, to play hi-fi music through amps and cabs designed/marketed for electric bass. When I do that, with music I'm already intimately familiar with, my ears go straight to the places where amps/cabs differ. Then, it is often the case that when I switch to the bass instrument, I can still hear those differences between amps/cabs, and this helps me decide between them. This method has helped me let go of some famous name items very recently.
But I'm telling you that my BA112-3STR is a keeper. My highs must come from cones.
EDIT: No offense intended toward any other cab. Just sharing my own thoughts.

Question for Genzler owners - are any of you using older Genz Benz cabs with Genzler heads? I’m thinking of getting a Magellan 350 to pair with two Genz Benz Focus 112’s. Do you guys think this would be a good pairing? (Purely GAS at this point as my Shuttle head works great with these cabs but I’ve been looking for an excuse to buy a Magellan head for a while..)
My experience s limited to the Uber series of cabinets but I can’t see it being a bad thing. Perhaps a bit redundant with your Shuttle sitting around. You’d gain the ability to do 2.67 ohms and add a third cab. If considering a Magellan you should look hard at the 800. The extra power and drive channel really make it worthwhile over the 350, IMO. And if you are buying used there are some killer prices in our classifieds.

Being in the UK limits my options in the classifieds, otherwise I’d probably spend a lot of my time (and money) in there..
Follow up on my BA2 115-3. Got to play it on a gig last week. Forgot to get pics. It was outstanding. It’s what I was looking for.
The BA2 210-3 and NC210T sounded really great together. Sonically, wonderful. But there was something missing. A feel thing. Always had the same feeling when running 10s. I’ve had a Mesa 215 and it was a beast and you could feel that thing everywhere, but it was too much in the bottom.
The 115/210 combo has it perfect. Sonically and the feel is just something else. Got that pounding kick too it but not too much boom.
Was going to keep the NC210 and use mostly as a practice rig, but decided to trade on a QSC 12.2 and use for ampless gigs at smaller venues and it can be easily used for at home practice just plugging in a preamp or my Zoom B6.

Yeah, that’s where I’m at…gonna sell my Magellan 800 to help pay for the Kinetix. I can still have both sounds…
I’ve plugged my Magellan 800 into a plethora of cabs including my GenzBenz 210XB and have yet to be disappointed. Always sounds amazing. I also have recently purchased a Kinetix and although I’ve only gigged with it once so far (with 2 Magellan 12’s) and I’m sure it’ll pair with any cab rated to handle the power.
Played the full setup this weekend running my much smaller, Noble less board

Sound guy came up to ask if I’d gotten a new bass since we last worked with him. When I told him no but said I got a new amp, he said it sounded amazing. Tons of nice growl to it. It sounded great to me too!

Just to add, other than the Cali76, which is always on (my plucking gets a little aggressive live), the other pedals are off and the Broughton is just there in case I need a DI instead of my Kinetix (don’t have the Magellan pre…yet). I use the Wampler for some grind for a few songs (we do a Metallica into to She’s Country by Aldean) and the octave for a couple songs that drop down to low A.
Other than that, all Kinetix for tone.
Good info. I have the Empress Bass Compressor. Also have the Magellan Pre/DI and it is very flexible in its operation end effectiveness.
If memory serves me correctly, I believe it was said that it could be inserted in the Kinetix aux in, so the A/B contours could be used for further tonal options?

So little help needed. Would adding an onboard preamp that got a much wider frequency range like a Bart NTMB and or like a genzler pre/q, get me the rest of the way for tone im hoping for? I have the DG Tone cap right now in my bass an I’ve luckily had a lot of help learning the amazing eq on the Magellan. I really like the focuses treble and clarity I think I’m just missing. The two mids are harder to dial in. Now I’ve def learned the FOH always sounds great cause it seems to give a diff eq a then goes through the PA speakes whcub helps with the Flat eq I tend to like. But I’m stuck on whether to add a more sensitive eq on change the preamp. I was able to get ALOT more tone I wanted by taking the contour down to flat an then my mid freq down a lot below noon and it’s given me those nice joe dart raking ghost notes mids cna give I’m just missing that focused treble an clarity. Any ideas?
I read your question slightly differently... "is it worth upgrading from the Shuttle to a Magellan?"
I moved from the Shuttle 9.0 to the Magellan 800 shortly after the Magellan was released. My take on the difference is that the Magellan has more authority in every register. I loved the Shuttle but the Magellan was a clear upgrade. I got what I loved in the Shuttle but got more of everything.
As for the 350 vs the 800, I've owned both and think they sound virtually identical at the same volume on the clean channel. if you don't need what the 800 adds, the 350 kills it. If you need/want the added headroom, 2nd channel, additional I/O, go for the 800
You’re probably looking for high mids - maybe roll towards the bridge pickup a little more and for JD a compressor is almost a necessity to drive the volume up on the ghost notes and even out the output all around.
