Yes, I believe that it was you I was thinking of. It sounds like you've had plenty of experience and feedback using the 110 / 112 combination and it's been all good. I suspect I'll end up getting both a BA10-2 and a BA112-3. I'll report back as things develop.

Here's a pic of my new MG350 combo. As other have said, the quality just oozes from the amp and cab, and it's a feather weight for sure. Sounds great! Only music room practice at this point, so no gig reviews yet. I'd be happy to accept a number to the club. Thanks!

You are certainly not alone in considering this rig set up. Another is Nashville vet Dave Pomeroy who is currently using the MG 800 and BA12-3 and will be giggin' the same stack with the BA10-2 on top too. Along with the difference in speaker compliment of the BA10-2, the cabinet shape is what a lot of players like about those little dynamos.
I think we'll all be interested in your comments if you go that direction.

Is there any thought to developing a vertical 2x10? One thing I like about my Shuttle combo stack is getting one speaker off the ground without using a stand - one more thing to haul around. Maybe build in the "angle" that you'd get when you stack a couple 10-2's?

Frankly that has been considered along with other designs but we felt that the BA10-2 achieves that to some extent with a little flexibility of 2 cabs.
We are always listening though. And from that listening I can say that there is something new coming soon.

Have you tried CYCLING The Effects Send/ Return a few times with a 1/4 male jack?

Anything is a possibility! I've had it hooked up and powered up for a few hours at home now, and it's working fine, hasn't had a hiccup.

I don't know. I'm starting to think it was some other factor and not the amp itself. It was just odd---it would have normal volume, and then slowly fade away to being barely audible. And then a couple times, we got a huge buzz coming from both the amp/cab and out the DI to FOH.

I've had the very same experience. After power cycling it the problem would go away.
After a few gigs it occurred during a sound check so I had time to better diagnose the issue. I found a patch cable was the problem. Took the cable out of service and have never had the problem again.
Apparently when power cycling it I was inadvertently jiggling the problem cable.

I've been working with Ryan to trouble shoot his issue. Since he is running his DI Pre EQ I'm thinking this is an issue before his signal input to the amp. Because at Pre EQ on the DI that signal is coming right off the input circuitry. A power loss to the amp and DI pretty unlikely.
I'm continuing to check this further and of course if we find it to be an amp issue, it will be taken care of immediately.
We are always very reactive to any issues we may have but I will say that up to this date we have not had 1 failure of the Magellan 800.....Knocking on wood as I type.
We'll dissect this more tomorrow with engineers just to confirm.

Thats weird.. I've had that FADING Thing happen with my old shuttle and other brand amps Mesa and Ampeg when the FX jacks get dirty..
Intermittent stuff makes me nuts.. I usually Tap it HARD with my hand to see if Vibration sets it off. I know that is not very technical. But sometimes the Hammer trick can get it to happen.. Dont bash it too hard
