Yeah, for sure. I have an HPF pedal anyway and my Magellan 800 sounded amazing at our last gig. The rest of the band was like, "Wow, your bass sounds killer" and many people in the crowd complimented my tone.

I can't be too mad but this isn't the first time I've bought something and immediately found a newly-released improved version.

Genzler doesn't list a specific bag/case for the 800+ on their site. Does the + fit in the original bag?
