Hi all-
I've gotten a ton of value from reading this forum, so I figured I'd share back a quick report on my new Magellan and Bass Array - this may be old news at this point, but here goes... I bought this pair late last week from South Shore Music in MA. Great guys, by the way, super helpful!
I have greatly enjoyed playing my fretless Jazz bass through this rig at home this week - very full/even/rich. Several steps above the Streamliner and GK 2x12 Neo I previously used. I took it out to a rehearsal last night and it worked great! Very easy to hear myself given the wide dispersion of the cab. Hard to get a bad sound out of that head - excellent dynamic range, loved both filters, great... Looking forward to my gig on Wed night.
Not a cheap rig, but I HIGHLY recommend it for anyone looking for a high end amp/cab. I can only imagine how it would sound with 2 Bass Arrays... Maybe someday, though I am quite pleased with how much it appears I can get out of 1 of them. Amazing cabs.
