Genzler review: Magellan + Bass Array = OMFG

For practicing at home that would not concern me but in any performance venue I'd recommend it set flat.

I've owned a fair amount of Jeff's stuff: Neopak, GBE600, Shuttle 9.0, GB Neo 112T (still have and the only thing that I've been disappointed with), GB Neo 212T (still have), GB Neo 112 Combo (still have), and Magellan (still have).

I'm considering getting a single 12-3 array. Is it recommended to get the slant or straight version? It's doubtful that I'd get more than one of these since I still have the 212T.

I’d get the slant. FWIW, I have a single BA12-3 straight and one of the 10-2’s. The slant is a helpful addition.

I have a 12-3 straight being delivered today. I got a good deal from the classifieds on here. If it's as good as I believe it will be, it may be time to sell the 212T.

I love mine and haven’t run into a situation where I needed more than one. YMMV.

I do find it helpful to put it on a slanted stand rather than sitting it on the floor.
