Gerald Veasley Boot Camp

I'm going in March. Gerald Veasley is a great player; I've seen him a few times. Plus Doug Wimbish and Gary Willis are gonna be there so you know it has to be good! 
I too am going in March. First time for me but I have spoken with Gerald on the phone many times, should be a great time. Looking forward to meeting everyone there.
Is the bass camp a good place for a beginner to go to ? I can play ok but really would like to learn more of course. I can't read music that well either. What does a normal day at bass camp entail ?
