Germanium boosts/preamps that are good for bass?

I love the sound and warmth of germanium. What I'm having trouble finding is a germanium boost/preamp that is not made specifically for guitar. Essentially, I want a RangeMaster without the bottom end clipped off. There's plenty of guitar pedals out there that claim to be "full range" for guitar, but I want something that is going to reach all the way down there and affect the lowest notes of the bass, as well. Any suggestions?

Wow, that seems super high gain. I’m only looking to warm up the tone and add a little crunch to it, ala Geddy or Chris Squire. I’m thinking I might just need to build it myself. I’m just not sure what values I should use for the input and output capacitors.

Sounds like you’re after the Phat Phuk B
+1 to this .... but ... just be aware that (IMO/IME) the Phat Phuk B can be a little temperamental (no pun intended) due to the temperature sensitivity of the germanium transistor.
I like mine just fine, but I did have to get used to it changing sensitivity based on how hot/cold it was when I used it.

Benson if you can find one. And yeah, most germanium based pedals I own sound meh on bass but great on guitar. It’s not because of the germanium as much as the circuits that we buy today with germanium transistors are still based on old guitar pedals like Rangemaster or Fuzz Face.
