Mexican music also has Middle Eastern incluences. I think these cultural influences come from the history of immigration of Middle Eastern people to Mexico dating back to the 1800's. In the 1700's the Spaniards brought Middle Eastern food to Mexico. Dick Dale was born in Boston but his family ties were Lebanese-American.
As far as I know, Ampeg first put reverb in a musical instrument amp. Prior to that, they used reverb pans in Hammond organs. AM radio stations added reverb to their broadcasts. Even jukeboxes had reverb units built in. It was prominent in late 50's rock'n'roll songs. But it became a signature sound of surf music. I can't imagine surf without drenched reverb.

In the mid 70's, I had an add-on reverb unit in my 1965 Buick Special...AM radio only.
I was always impressed that the lead singer, Alex Chilton, was sixteen year old kid. Some people just have it. The same goes for Andrew Strong, he was sixteen as the lead singer when filming The Commitments.

Most of them probably like the dogs more than the customers!
I like dealing with dogs and other creatures more than some people.
Some drivers have earned a bad reputation that unfortunately taints them all. I have to say, every single one that comes to my door does a very good job and are polite.
Same goes for bus drivers. Always greet you when getting on and wish you a good day when leaving. Very civil.
I was on the bus today to go to the bakery. There was freezing rain and snow last night, the streets are a mess. If you come back on another bus route you get to transfer so one fare gets me there and back. Being thrifty, this is a bit of alright in my book.
