Saturday Reprise
Surf's up! Not surf and turf. Dick Dale and the Del-Tones added some reverb and Middle Eastern influences to instrumental music in the early 1960's.
Two words...."baritone" and "reverb"; my problem is finding a new guitarist who can play surf. It's a rare skill today.

Big difference IMHO, between music ABOUT surfers, like Surf City, Catch a A Wave, Surfin USA...and music FOR surfers, like Miserlou, Pipeline.
