While their exact landing position remains a bit of a mystery, we're all sure they're out of fuel, altitude and airspeed. That essentially means that between the return to earth, remain airborne, or achieve orbit possibilities, they are most certainly on the ground at or below sea level.Ahhh... but what about "Flight 19"?That was 5 aircraft that "disappeared".
So the scene in "Close Encounters..."isn't real? While their exact landing position remains a bit of a mystery, we're all sure they're out of fuel, altitude and airspeed. ...well if it was real, they still landed. So the scene in "Close Encounters..."isn't real?
Looked pretty real to me.So the scene in "Close Encounters..."isn't real?
So, while on my hiatus from TB, I auditioned for (and won) the bass seat in an original project. Bunch of "old farts" like us with a female singer nearing 40. Tired of the work involved in gigging (even though that's been non-existent lately) and ready to be creative. Even though I was told "we have a bass rig", I brought my GK MB212-ii....and left it in the car! Their bass rig is a Mark Bass 2X10" 500 watt combo with a 15" cab underneath. Needles to say, works for me. Occasional gigs are not out of the question but we're going to concentrate mostly on originals and streaming once in a while. Fun so far and good musicians. The band "dynamic" is a bit different from what I'm used to but it works. EVERYBODY weighs in on new songs whether they wrote them or not. Gigging is not the attraction it once was...
Does House Of Guitars still sell used and new instruments? I used to deal with them years ago. Their web site hasn’t listed instruments in quite some time.
Also a name for various small boats, used for transporting captains, pilots, etc around a harbor.Historically, a gig was a light two-wheeled carriage pulled by one horse. One horse power was enough to get you there.

And now for the surrey with the fringe on top.
My country is getting dumber by the day.
This is the pinned top post on the Facebook page for the parrot rescue...
"To see available birds, find out about adoption or placing birds, or about visiting, see our website www.iowaparrotrescue.org. "
This is the first comment to THAT POST...
" ...What's the process to give one of these beauties a forever home? "
Is there anyone dumber than people?

Even experienced drivers have problems with black ice and a slope.
