Get off my LAWN! "Grumpy Old Farts"

My grump of the day (so far)…

Got woken up a 4 AM by students out on the street trying to wake people up. The cop suggest moving, that's what he did.

Went out a 5AM. The park was full of litter, the trash cans were not used. By the look of it, the takeout all came from the same place. It arrived in large boxes, there must have been a huge group. Kids are always preaching to protect the environment. That must apply to everyone else.

Students are fully back in the neighbourhood. Went to buy bottled water, been drinking more. Went into a corner store, normally it's not crowded, it was packed. Why do six students need to herd in when one is buying a <$1 pack of gum, no distancing. The owner says, there's a $5 minimum when using a card. The kid says I don't care, charge me $5. That's what spoiled children do with their parents money.

I came out and there was a large orientation group standing at the light. Someone with a flag at the front takes them for a tour. They never move when you are going in the opposite direction. This goes on day and night for a couple of weeks.

Oh, but madame, of course there is... ;)

Limoncello please

.
I like to watch eclipses like this. Much safer than some methods. The trees got your back!

We took in this event at a farm in far western Nebraska. The coolest thing to observe were the animals. All the sheep lay down. The rooster rounded up all the hens and herded them to the house.
I had Waiting for the Sun playing in a loop; the guests and our hosts seemed to be copacetic with that.

Limoncello is better with good water.

I drink bottled spring water. It tastes better than city water for starters.

I have a potted Christmas tree in my living room. I used to water it with tap water. It grew but not well. As an experiment, I started giving it my bottled water. It perked up and flourished. The bottled water has minerals including 2% calcium and no chemicals. I figure, what's good for the tree is good for me.

I have been giving mine rain water and a bit of potting soil... BINGO! Got what it has been needing.
Was looking sad for a good while.
