Maybe it's just me, but I really hadn't detected anything that would have led me to believe this thread actually had a specific topic...it always seemed more stream of consciousness to me. So in that spirit just let me say, great cartoon and thanks for sharing!

@Al Kraft I'm at the edge of the stream and I'M LOST!!!! LOL

Well, I went to Ikea today for the first time. I must really lead a sheltered life. We wanted to look at a Poang armchain. I had checked one out a couple of days ago in a record listening room at a street fair. It felt pretty good on the back.

What a zoo! Got lost in the store, they are huge. Checked out the restaurant. Took home a chair and footstool. Had to plane down two sides of the plywood base on the stool to get it assembled. It was cut oversized by an eigth of an inch. I can see why some folks have trouble assembling their purchases.

The store was packed. People were waiting in long lines at the cashes to open up their wallets. What a business.

We’re all rich in different ways. That pot of gold can come in different packages. Although, money is nice.

An old friend of mine in Seattle buys me one lottery ticket a week. It costs $1 a week to dream of a privileged life. Of course if we won, I'd ask for a larger allowance from Carey.

It's true that money can't buy happiness. It does, however, buy a better class of misery.:smug:

But it could buy me a boat, it could buy me a truck to pull it
It could buy me a Yeti 110 iced down with some silver bullets
Yeah, and I know what they say
Money can’t buy everything
Well, maybe so,
But it could buy me a boat

With apologies to Chris Janson. :D

What the heck is a Yeti 110??
