Just got back from the procedure. Have to wait on biopsies.

Every 5 years? Very long story short - every 18 months for me.

Well, Slab, pending biopsy results, that interval may hopefully lengthen!

I went from 3 years to 5 years. And, while I despise the prep, I enjoy my post-procedure emmensely! Best nap ever. I'm encouraged to, uh ... flatulate(?). And I get to eat two breakfasts!

If I'd known when I was younger what all I was gonna go through, I'd have done something different and probably missed this golden time I've arrived at now!

"If I'd known I was going to live this long, I'd have taken better care of myself." ....everyone from Mae West to Jerry Garcia

I tell all my grandkids to take of themselves for their old age, don't be like me. The teenagers just roll their eyes. The 16-year-old now says his back hurts 'cause he beat all his friends doing the dead lift at the gym last night! Then I rolled my eyes!

The body seems to remember things you have done to it, and then at a certain age, it's pay back time!

How difficult was not saying "toldja so"?:speechless:

VERY! So, I just repeated my whole speech, AGAIN!

Of course!

Parent: How many times do I have to tell you NOT to do that!?!?

Brat: Oh, about 1,000 more times should just about do it.

And, ya know, the brat's right! (He's mostly a brat just for having said that. Thinking it is OK, he's just a rambunctious little angel, then. But if he says it! Time to lower the boom.)

- cruel, heartless daddy:spit:; cuddly, huggy grampaw:rolleyes:

My English teachers found it hard to dissuade me from Vonnegut, despite the usual Important Writers. Memorize three Shakespearian sonnets to recite in front of the class. Say what's with that. Fitzgerald, Goethe, Homer, and there are of course some kids who find deep meaning in Marvel and staring at the album cover of Tubular Bells. Found deeper meaning in underground comix myself but um I probably wasn't going to mention that. Boarding school. You don't want to know.

Notice to online retailers:

Do not send me an email telling me that my item has now shipped, when in fact all that has been done is that someone somewhere, probably thousands of miles away from the actual item, has thought about creating a shipping label.

I had that happen recently. It was an excuse to charge my credit card for a product, that it turned out, they didn’t even have in stock.

I remember a few decades back, my wife and I would chuckle about how the older generation at family gatherings would all be talking about their health issues. Tonight I find myself reading through a couple of pages online of my peers discussing and laughing about... health issues!
What goes around, comes...

how did that go again?
