Just listened to Rare Earths version of GET READY for the first time in about 100 years and was reminded of the amazing bass solo that starts around the 5:42 mark of the full version. Who was that guy?

That could be, but I seem to remember it being a live recording with the band. We did a gig on the same bill with Rare Earth singer/drummer Pete Rivera a few years ago and he was great, nice guy too.
