Either a kitchen island or use it for vacation. My wife and I have not had a vacation since 03' when we went to Nashville to see my brother. We started a family in 05' so we are due!!!

Getting a big tax refund? What you gonna buy?

Really don't need any bass gear right now..... Right now it will go to my glider fund. Taking soaring lessons and want my own plane....
I dumped some tax refund dollars in the market when it tanked in the summer/fall of 2008. A small investment then, now pays for new gear, pays down old credit bills, allows for home expenses, and some left over to let it keep riding. I don't buy into the doom and gloom. When I see the glass half full, I keep pouring. Make some lemonade! The tax rate hasn't changed in years. I don't let the hype spoil my party!!
I just broke up with my gf, so now that I'm not paying for her leg of the family Hawaii trip (as well as my own) and every meal she ever ate, I feel like I deserve to splurge on me for once.
Probably a Mesa M6 carbine, and maybe a couple mics for recordin da band. The rest (which will still be most of it, luckily) will go to savings for when my friends and I get a new place.
